NIPCO Gas Deploys Innovative Solutions to Domestic Gas Utilisation
The Managing Director, NIPCO Gas Limited, Nagendra Verma, has expressed the company’s commitment to continue to deploy innovative solutions to utilising the abundant gas resources in the country.
NIPCO, a leading gas company in Nigeria, won twin awards from the Nigerian Gas Association NGA) for its contributions to deepening gas utilisation.
The awards are ‘Nigeria Domestic Gas Ambassadors Award’ and ‘Gas Sector Innovation Pioneer Award’.
Verma, while receiving the awards on behalf of the company, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stressing that it was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Nipco Gas team.
The NIPCO Gas boss also emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting domestic gas utilisation and offering innovative solutions in the industry by assiduously pushing for the harnessing of the nation’s gas resources for national development.
He noted that NIPCO Gas has established itself as a leading player in the gas industry, providing high-quality gas products and stellar services to customers across the country.
According to him, the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability has earned it a reputation as a trusted and reliable partner in the sector.
He noted that with these latest awards, NIPCO Gas has once again demonstrated its leadership in promoting the growth and development of the Nigerian gas industry and contributing wholeheartedly to the Decade of Gas and Nigeria Gas Expansion Programme of the Federal Government.
Presenting the awards, President, NGA, ED Ubong, said they are in recognition of the company’s role in deepening gas utilisation and pioneering innovative technology towards the growth and development of the Nigerian gas industry.
He described the occasion as a celebration of the achievement of the glorious moments and successes recorded by NIPCO Gas Limited which has over the years exhibited faith in the resilience of the Nigerian economy through its huge investment in the gas industry.
The company whose efforts started with the inauguration of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in Benin, Edo State in 2009 has to date commissioned 12 outlets and operates over 100 km of pipeline network providing natural gas to industries in various locations of the country.
