Roka is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience spanning audit, assurance, finance, general administration, and consultancy.

He started his career in the accounting realm over two decades ago in Nepal and later India before moving to Nigeria in 2007 with a renewed vigor to stand out in corporate finance transactions.

He joined NIPCO Plc as an internal auditor and rose through the ranks to the topmost position in the downstream as Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in 2017.

Roka was also saddled with the responsibility of overseeing all finance matters including sales & marketing in the downstream giant as well as oversight functions on 11 Plc accounts related endeavours.

The accounting cum marketing colossus put up dignified and exemplary service all through his pecuniary-related activities in the company and was so rewarded in January 2020 with his elevation to the post of Chief Operating Officer (COO) thus combining his financial wizardry with the coordination of the entire operations of the company.

His promotion undoubtedly merited and sets a record in the running of the organization as not only superintends on financial activities but also oversees the company’s operations, a feat unrivalled in the firm’s history.

He is an upward-moving personality of repute, highly revered in his chosen profession, and a soft-spoken personality but always at his best in fiscal-related matters. Roka’s management acumen has been brought to bear in the way he combined finance activities to oversee AGO sales marketing, the unit a very prosperous Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in the company over the years. With his elevation to the position of COO, he brings to bear a plethora of years of experience in the accounting field and managerial excellence to take the company to the next level.

A widely travelled man, extremely reticent about his official schedule and urbane to the core. He is happily married with children.i
