Alhaji Abdulkadir Aminu was appointed as Group Executive Director, Corporate Services NIPCO Plc, after the completion of the acquisition of majority shareholding in Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc.

He was formerly the Executive Director, of Corporate Services NIPCO, and the National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN).

The astute oil and gas marketer is presently the Chairman Board of Trustees of IPMAN, the highest policy-making organ in the Association.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Aminu, a Civil Engineer of high repute and was one time Chief Engineer of Adamawa State. Before his recent appointment, he had chaired the Adamawa State Task Force on petroleum products distribution through which he ensured product availability and stoppage of sharp practices at filling stations across the state. He had served on the boards of several regulatory agencies in the petroleum sector including the Petroleum Products Pricing & Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) and the Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF).

He is the Chairman of A. A. Mbamba Ltd with scores of service stations in the country. Alhaji Aminu who holds the revered chieftaincy title of Sarkin Hurmi, Adamawa, is an unassuming, quiet, strong believer in teamwork and has to his credit distinguished accomplishment.

He is happily married with children.
